It's always wise to maintain good relations with your neighbours, though many people encounter neighbourly disputes from time to time. However, one woman has exploded with fury over her upstairs neighbour and their bizarre 2am routine that occurs every single night.
The woman explained she deliberately selected the first floor of her apartment building because she enjoys dancing and exercising, and 'didn't want to disturb her neighbours' with any noise. But now she's saying she wishes she hadn't bothered being considerate, as it's her upstairs neighbour who's causing all the aggravation. Taking to Reddit to vent about her predicament, she posted: "Unfortunately I chose the first floor because I like to dance and workout, I didn't want to bother any neighbours with the noise. I regret it. It's 2:15am.
"Why are you pacing back and forth during witching hours?!

"Literally he gets up between 2-3am, paces, then sits down to watch TV. He likes court shows, specifically people's court with judge Milan.
"I shouldn't know this much about this man, I literally forgot his name, I'm irritated."
Revealing her planned retaliation, the woman posted: "Gonna set an alarm to play Paramore and Nirvana at 6:30am since we just don't give a f**k about people getting proper sleep around here."
Numerous people concurred that the woman's neighbour was completely out of order for making noise at 2am.
One person commented: "I'm having the same issue. I don't know if it's a cat with the zoomies or just a person. I'm awake right now because of it."
Another added: "Why is he awake at that hour? He sounds like he's being inconsiderate of others regardless of the reason, and should go buy a headset. I doubt anyone else wants to hear his noise."
While a third joined the conversation, stating: "Petty alarm revenge is valid. If we're all just vibing in chaos, might as well make it a Paramore morning."
The post comes after another individual recently shared their own neighbourly woes on Reddit, revealing their neighbour's "disgusting" balcony habit.
The woman detailed how her neighbour has taken to "living" on his balcony, which is greatly affecting her own quality of life.
In her post, she explained: "I moved to the upper floor of an old two-story apartment building two months ago. At first, everything seemed fine, but then a man in his 50s moved into the unit below me.
"He lives alone. From the very first day, he started making noise, but I tolerated it, thinking it was just the usual moving-in chaos."
Things took a turn for the worse when he transformed his balcony into a living space and began spending most of his time there.
A few days later, he bought new furniture for his balcony and "basically started living out there". She commented: "He sits on the balcony in his underwear only, chain smoking, watches reels with the speaker on, and making long video calls. Sometimes these video calls even happen after midnight."
The woman contemplated leaving a note, but fellow Reddit users proposed alternative solutions.
They suggested she play loud music to encourage him to retreat indoors or even attract birds with feeders to distract him.
